Sierra Trading Post has amazing deals! I think most of their items are closeout or last year's so they get them cheap and sell them cheap. The sizes and colors are often limited, but that's to be expected. Great return policy, too!

It's not often I can rave about any shopping experience much less online, but happily with this company I can! I have been buying from Sierra Trading Post for about three years, they consistently have super bargains on outdoor gear and apparel, even a few things for your home, such as bedding or holiday items.
They also carry name brands like "The North Face", "Patagonia" and many others that are well known and respected.

I recently purchased cold weather gear for all three of my kids, including snow boots and hats, almost everything fit perfectly and was just as described, only one item was a bit too small, but thanks to Sierra's great return policy, it was as easy as putting it back in the box and using the handy pre-paid return label (a small amount is deducted from your return, but the conveniece is worth it.)

They carry closeouts, overstocks and 2nds, but these are clearly marked, just look in the description, it will be the first thing you see in bold. Be sure to use your favorite search engine for coupon codes, as they almost always have a deal available. The shipping is dependable, and the rates seem fair and reasonable, not designed to make an extra buck off the consumer.
