They will not let you return the item to the store if you bought it online unless they carry it in the store. Found out the hard way!

The Home Depot website has many of the things you can find at the store. Some items are only available online. A lot of items have free shipping.
One annoying aspect is trying to figure out shipping costs for larger items that don't have free shipping. You actually have to register before they give you the shipping costs.
